The Northern Ireland star was a child prodigy as he moved effortlessly through the junior ranks and won prestigious tournaments around the world at a young age. Playing out of Holywood Golf Club in Belfast, it was almosy inevitable he would be compared to a certain Rory McIlroy who also came through the ranks at Holywood.

McKibbin turned professional in 2021 and adjusted well to life on the road at such a young age. After a number of top 10 finishes on both the Challenge Tour and main DP World Tour, he recorded his maiden win in 2023 at the Porsche European Open.

The former Irish International also represented Great Britain & ireland at the Jacques Leglise Trophy. Prestigious Junior titles included the Junior Honda Classic, Junior Invitational at Sage Valley and the Peter McEvoy Trophy.

When not travelling the world to compete, McKibbin likes to spend time at home with family and friends. He is also an avid F1 fan.
