About Mark Power
Mark grew up in Kilkenny, Ireland and went to college at Wake Forrest University where he graduated in May 2023. Here, he carded numerous top 25’s and top 10’s throughout his collegiate career.
Mark has spent the summer representing Ireland at European Team Championships and on an individual level at the British Amateur and St. Andrews Links Trophy to name a few. He recently represented GB&I for a 2nd time at the 49th Walker Cup at St. Andrews and earned three out of four maximum points for his team.
Throughout his college career, Mark had 9 Top 25’s, 6 Top 20’s, and 4 Top 10’s. He also won the stroke play title at the East Lake Cup with a five-under 67. Mark received an All-American selection in 2021 whilst making his Walker Cup debut representing GB&I in 2021 which was held at Seminole Golf Club. He was a proud member of the Arnold Palmer Cup Team in 2020 as well as being on the Ben Hogan Award Watch List.
Prior to his time at Wake, Mark was a two-time winner of Irish Open Boys Championship, Winner of the Peter McEvoy Trophy and Semi-finalist at the British Boys’ Championship in 2018. Mark competed at the 2016 European Young Masters and was a Three-time winner of Irish Boys Order of Merit. He has represented his country at an International level on both Boys and Mens teams on many occasions.
