Kiet Van der Weele

The Dutch golfer hit his stride in 2023 to win three time on the Alps Tour, which earned him automatic promotion to the European Challenge Tour. he enjoyed wins at the Alps de Las Castillas, Memorial Giorgio Bordoni and the Open de la Mirabelle d’Or.  

Van der Weele had a strong finish to his amateur career winning the Voorjaarswedstrijd Championship in 2022, and was runner-up in the Dutch National Strokeplay Championship. He was also sixth in the Lytham Trophy and the Portuguese Amateur. 

He won the European Men’s Club Trophy in 2021 and finished runner up in both the Dutch Amateur Championship and the Dutch National Open Championship and was fourth in the Dutch National Strokeplay Championship.

When not on the fairways, Van der Weele is likely to be on the tennis court with his father who is a tennis coach. he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
