Erik Van Rooyen

Erik is a South African native who attended the university of Minnesota, where he went on to graduate and turn professional in 2013.

Currently living in Jupiter Florida, and playing both the European and PGA Tour he has had a decorated career to date. Erik won twice in 2017, first on the sunshine Tour at the Eye of Africa PGA Championship and then on the Challenge Tour at the Hainan Open. After finishing inside the top 15 in the 2017 Challenge Tour rankings Erik graduated to the European Tour and excelled that season, with five top ten finishes seeing him earn the 2018 graduate of the year award. In 2019 Erik continued his great form with his maiden win on the European Tour at the Scandinavian invite going on to break inside the top 50 in the World Rankings.

Erik has since taken up his PGA Tour membership for the 2020/2021 season and has earned his first victory on the PGA tour in August 2021 at the Barracuda Championship in Tahoe after shooting a record breaking score of 50 points. Erik enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and family on weeks off.
