PRESS RELEASE: For Immediate release
JMC Sport is delighted to announce the signing of rising star Ben Warian, the latest player to join the growing stable and is looking forward to making his mark in the professional ranks.
Warian (22) is an exciting prospect from Minnesota, in the United States and has enjoyed a stellar amateur career with several high profile wins in 2024, while attending the University of Minnesota and has also secured a place in a PGA Tour event in 2025.
“We are really excited to start working with Ben,” said Henry Todd, JMC Sport Player Manager. “We have had a great relationship with Ben since his early college days and have seem him develop into one of the top amateurs in the country.
“Ben is a great addition to the JMC Sport stable. It’s wonderful to work with another Minnesota alumni, just like fellow JMC Sport player, Erik van Rooyen.”
After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Warian will seek to build his professional career on PGA Tour Americas. Ben obtained his PGA Tour Americas card through the Global Amateur Pathway. In addition to his status on PGA Tour Americas, Ben will be going through PGA Tour Qualifying School to try and get status on the PGA Tour or the Korn Ferry Tour.
In June 2024, he won the Sunnehanna Amateur with rounds of 65, 71, 67, 64 and secured the Highland Meadows Intercollegiate in April with rounds of 65, 63, 70. He also enjoyed four other top 10 finishes in 2024.
By finishing second in the Elite Amateur Series throughout the 2024 summer, Warian also secured a place in the 2025 Puerto Rico Open on the PGA Tour. The Puerto Rico Open takes place in March at Grand Reserve Golf Club.
Further accolades while at the University of Minnesota included finishing in the top 20 in all but one of the seven events on the 2024 Spring schedule, including tied fourth at the Johnnie-O at Sea Island.
