Power becomes latest Kingspan Ambassador

PRESS RELEASE: Wednesday May 29, 2024

Mark Power is delighted to be announced as the latest Ambassador for Kingspan, one of Ireland’s most recognised companies in the construction sector and a global leader in high-performance insulation.

The agreement sees the Kilkenny man join an illustrious list of Kingspan Ambassadors that includes major champion Shane Lowry and two-time LPGA winner Leona Maguire.

“I am grateful for the support Kingspan have given me as I begin my career as a professional golfer,” said Power, who currently competes on the European Challenge Tour.

“Kingspan’s investment in meaningful projects in the sustainability space and their support of individual sports people like me, plus grassroots level support here in Ireland and further afield, is admirable.

“I am delighted to be partnered with an Irish company and join the likes of Shane and Leona on their roster of Ambassadors,” added the 23-year-old, who is making his way in the professional game after a distinguished amateur career.

Power played on two Walker Cups, making his debut in at Seminole in the United States in 2021 and again in 2023 at St Andrews, where he won three points out of a possible four for Great Britain & Ireland. Later that year he turned professional.

“Mark epitomises dedication to his craft, and his pursuit of excellence aligns perfectly with Kingspan’s commitment to innovation and performance. We’re excited to support Mark as he rises in the golfing world,” says Richard Beswick, Sports Sponsorship Manager for Kingspan.

Kingspan’s collaboration with Mark Power highlights its dedication to nurturing golfing talent and promoting sustainability within the sport. This partnership reflects Kingspan’s ongoing efforts to support golfers who demonstrate exceptional skill and commitment, both on and off the course.
